Today, we have again had a visit from Japan, when Hideyuki Ando, Senior General Manager at the NYK subsidary MTI, visited our office in Lyngby. We discussed (among other topics) the standardisation work both companies are deeply involved in, where we try to develop standards for communication of performance (and other ship related) data between various applications and vendors. Both MTI and VP Solutions are interested in moving forward with the standardisation work, which we both believe will help create transparency and innovation within the shipping industry.
